Terms of use

Using GeoTalez

You may use GeoTalez to play its puzzles for personal, non-commercial enjoyment. The games are free and can be played without an account. Guest results appear under a random nickname by default and can be hidden or reset. Signed-in account rankings follow the account visibility setting.

Acceptable use

Do not interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, disrupt other visitors, or use automated requests that impair the site. Do not attempt to manipulate leaderboard submissions or misrepresent locally imported results as eligible ranked results. Scores are recalculated by the server, though public browser puzzles cannot be made completely cheat-proof.

Site materials

These terms do not transfer rights in GeoTalez branding, software, or other site materials. You may share the spoiler-free result generated by the game. True Scale country outlines use Natural Earth data; borders and disputed areas follow that source's conventions.

Availability and changes

GeoTalez is provided without a promise of uninterrupted availability. Daily puzzles and features may change, and a future puzzle may occasionally be delayed while the schedule is updated. Browser progress and the anonymous guest identity may be lost if you clear site data, use private browsing, or change devices. Guest ranking results can be removed with the reset control; signed-in results are stored in the player’s account and can be deleted with that account.

Account deletion

You can delete your account and the cloud results linked to it from the Profile page. Guest ranking data can be reset on the Leaderboard page. Anonymous community totals remain after those actions.
